Uwharrie 12/6/07

I had a blast today. It is nice to be out there when nobody else is around. We spent about 2 1/2 hours playing on Daniel and trying lots of different lines. Then we watched a guy with a Nissan Frontier try and climb up the stump, slip off, and hang his truck up on the stump. He had to pull the bumper cover off to get off of the stump. Silas cut down a sidewall on Daniel as well.

We then went up to Kodak and did the same thing. Just hung out and tried all kinds of different lines. No real damage to report from there. Mike ended up with some driveline vibes after we left Kodak but apparently went away when he got back on pavement.

From there we took Sawmill to Slabpile and then went down Dutch John and finally out on Wolf Den. The trails were empty and we had the place to ourselves which really made it enjoyable. It has been a while since I have had that much fun at UNF. Hopefully Silas and Dennis will get their vids and pics up soon.

I will say this about today, it was kinda cool watching Jesse and Will drive my Jeep. Watching them drive over chit easily made me feel good about all the time, effort, and money I have put into that thing.

It was very different to watch from outside the cab. The only other people that have driven my Heep offroad have been Harvest and Lee (clutch smoker). Jesse drove it on Daniel and Kodak while Will only drove it on Daniel. It was kinda cool to watch it hit stuff and climb over obstacles. Whenever I see myself on videos I am usually too busy critiquing my driving to pay attention to how the Jeep does but when watching it live I found myself watching the Heep's mechanics as it went over stuff. I was kinda proud.

Man i loved driving that Jeep. That thing works right is all I can say. I can't wait to get my shat done. I took a line on RML that I've never even looked at in my jeep.

Well there was 2 flats... sidewalls on ProCraps...are just that... ProCrap!!!
